Maidan-E-Jung is now accepting applications to recruit for Official Regional Referees.

If you meet the minimum requirements to apply, you will be required to attend the Jung Referee Camp in which you will be trained and tested on your performance in a simulated tournament. If your performance is exceptional and meets all scored items on the set rubric, you will be selected as a Jung Regional Referee and have the opportunity of refereeing a future Maidan-E-Jung tournament.
Our goal of creating Jung Regional Referees is to qualify legitimate referees according to a written assessment and therefore formulate a consistent and reputable group of referees. Moving forward, only top qualifying Jung Regional Referees will be given the opportunity to referee. This unique opportunity gives players/viewers full transparency in the scoring and judging processes of Maidan-E-Jung. These Regional Referees will be from varying locations and Gatka teams and allow for a well rounded tournament with a common understanding of the Maidan-E-Jung Rules (available on thejung.org).
Please note the minimum requirements to qualify as a Jung Regional Referee are listed in the application. Also, you MUST be able to attend the Jung Referee Camp at the date and time provided. If you cannot attend, your application will NOT be considered. The Region divisions are shown in the map above. Spectators are invited to join.
